Our briefing was to find Local Stores and develop an E-Commerce for them, both mobile and desktop.
As mentioned in the briefing, online presence is a good way to hijack the issue.

More and more professionals are on the verge of their digital transition.

We needed to help local shops and professionals to improve their online presence to be more competitive in today’s market.

CHALLENGE

Based on interviews with the owner, Sergio and our users, we elaborated our Problem Statement,
the challenge that sums up what we wanted to change: Morokk Snkrs needs an online shop that communicates passion for sneakers and trustworthiness to compete in an unregulated market catering to passionate shoppers.

How might we design an online shop that communicates the owner’s passion for sneakers and demonstrates professional and trustworthy handling of business?

RESEARCH

We started with secondary research and we found out that selling Sneakers online is a giant international business.
Sneakers are being bought for various reasons: to wear them, to collect them, and also as an investment.
The website StockX estimated the secondary resale sneaker market to be worth $10 billion in 2021 and to reach nearly $30 billion by 2030.
The Average User is 21 years old, male, representing 97% of the market, and the most significant amount they paid for a pair is $309.
According to the website Fashion and Textile, a True Sneakerhead is somebody that really loves the shoe. They are passionate and can tell you a story about it.

USER INTERVIEW

Through the User Interviews, we found that sizing and fit are an issue for the customer, and they really want to find more information on how rare the sneakers are.
The users update themselves through social networks, especially Twitter, there are some profiles specialized in sneakers that inform about availability and rarity, such as Nice Kicks.
